MACADAMIA TERNIFOLIA (Macadamia nut oil)

The natural oil of macadamia nuts contains high levels of unsaturated fatty acids. Due to its similarity to the natural skin lipids, it absorbs quickly and acts nourishing and smoothening specifically on dry, flaked and sensitive skin. Macadamia nut oil regulates the callusing process, acts regenerating and supports metabolic processes.

MANGIFERA INDICA (Mango butter)

The evergreen mango tree’s home was originally India, and it can grow up to 40 meters high. The mangos dangle from the tree on long stems. They contain a large, flattened stone. The mango stone contains a yellowish-creamy coloured fat – the mango butter. The valuable fat supplies the skin with a fine protective film and provides even stressed, rough skin with unbelievable smoothness and elasticity.

MANGIFERA INDICA FRUIT EXTRACT (Mango extract)

The mango is high in vitamin E, C and B as well as minerals. In terms of provitamin A, it is among the leaders in all types of fruit. Mango extract stimulates, enlivens and supplies the skin with valuable mineral nutrients, and can even provide stressed, rough skin with new smoothness.

MARIS SAL (Sea salt)

Sea salt with its high mineral content is extracted by natural evaporation of seawater. The healing power of the minerals and their soothing agents were used as early as in old Egypt. Sea salt provides the skin with refreshing moisture, eases irritation and clears impurities. For cosmetic purposes, sea salt is used in peeling products and footbaths, for example.

MELISSA OFFICINALIS (Melissa oil)

Ethereal oil extracted from the leaves of the lemon balm, (Melissa officinalis). The lemon balm was already referred to in antiquity as a medicinal and spice plant. Up into modern times, beekeepers scoured their beehives with the plant’s leaves in order to  ensure that the bees stayed in the hives. The pleasant oil with lemon fragrance is obtained from the leaves and blossoms via distillation and used as an active ingredient in a wide range of products.

MENTHA PIPERITA (Mint oil)

Peppermint oil is used in some body care products due to its refreshing, skin-cooling and blood circulation supporting effects. The volatile oils of peppermint act antiseptically (aids in stomatitis), antibacterially and antifungally (against mould and yeast). Tea made from peppermint leafs encourages the appetite and has an anticonvulsant action; it fights nausea, acute vomiting and sickness. Mint oil is also known as a well-proven, quick-acting household remedy to relieve joint pains and tension headaches as well as flatulence and abdominal cramps.

MENTHOL

Ethereal oil obtained from the dried leaves of the peppermint (Mentha piperita). The peppermint has been grown since ancient times because of its  medicinal properties. Archaeologists have found it in Egyptian tombs dating back 3,000 years and the plant has been cultivated for at least 2,000 years in Japan as well to provide menthol.
